✗Journal✗WorkoutBuilt: Today I built a faster way of backtesting edge opportunities and I also built not much else. Actually, it was kind of a kerfuffle because I kept trying to backtest the model but didn't really think things through and get a third-party point of view. I just let Claude sort of run amok, which was a disaster.✗Spirit✗CatherineNolan: Oh yeah, Catherine mentioned this to me, but yeah, when I was about to put Noli to bed, he and I were running into his room, or he was running into his room after the milk, and on his way in, I told him to go give his mom a kiss, and he turned around and ran towards Catherine and started blowing kisses, and then ran over and gave her a kiss goodnight, which was so cute. And we hung out in the basement today and had a lot of fun, and also fed some chicken scratch to the chickens, and yeah, he was just generally a joy to be around.
Today was good, I bought a monitor which has already made me more effective, our bonus came in for the year, I felt the spirit the first time in a while, I really enjoyed hanging out with my wife Catherine and my son Nolan, I actually got some good work done today and I learned a lot about not trusting Claude to just make recommendations and I'm excited to go to the movies tomorrow night with Catherine.
✗Journal✗WorkoutBuilt: I built this bot, I built CloudOps, I built the blog, I built a ton more signals, and then at work I built a lot of, or I created the first round of my research report for the WhatsApp subs adoption.✗Spirit✗CatherineNolan: I love when Nolan knocks on my door when I'm at work, like he can tell I'm in there, but I don't answer the door because I have to focus, and it's fun just hearing him bang on the door. I love that little guy.
Today I went to the bar with Dan or better said I went to go to plunge Asana with him and his VC buddies which was cool but I was still more excited to come home and see Catherine Nolan. I really felt empowered by my ability to put things with Claude and I really feel like anything is possible and I just have to figure out how to crowd marketing and then I'll be able to scale almost infinitely building tools for everyone which is my true dream
